Monitoring Frog populations in Whian Whian
In case you haven’t heard the great news – Whian Whian Landcare was part of the team that won the SCU Engagement Award for ‘Engaged Research’. What a great achievement as the award is highly competitive and extremely prestigious.
This project was a SCU and community research partnership investigating native frogs as indicators of success in riparian restoration. The project delivered a protocol for restoration of riparian areas that detailed best management practice to incorporate consideration and protection of frogs and raise awareness in the community about their protection. If you would like an e-copy of this protocol email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
This project was supported by the Norman Wettenhall Foundation. Congratulations Whian Whian Landcare!
