The NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) and Local Land Services (LLS) are coordinating and providing recovery assistance and advice to landholders, primary producers, commercial fishers, and other industries impacted by the severe weather.

The Environmental Education program of the NSW Environmental Trust is now inviting Expressions of Interest. The funding stream is open to not-for-profit organisations, community organisations and government authorities. Projects need to be values between $10,000 and $100,000 and between 2-3 years. EOI's close April 10th 2017.

For a number of years Landcare groups have been asking for cost effective insurance that provides adequate protection for group members. The package is offered in two teirs depending on the income and employer status of the group. The Insurance Program provides Public Liability and Volunteer Workers coverage PLUS Association Liability (if applicable) which covers a range of risks including Professional Indemnity, Officers & Directors Liability and more.
