Richmond Valley Council's Community Financial Assistance Program opened today Monday 4 September.
Community organisations or groups with interesting ideas for community projects valued between $100 and $5,000 are encouraged to apply.
Applications close Tuesday 3 October.
In July this year the Border Ranges Richmond Valley Landcare Network officially settled in the building that has housed the Northern Landcare Support Services for many years. This transition is an exciting new era bringing with it some changes to the way we operate and to the services available.

This grant opportunity is available to incorporated, not-for-profit organisations in the Northern Rivers region who and have Deductible Gift Recipient DGR, or can work with a suitable organisation with DGR status.

The Grants Round opened on August 22nd and closes September 19th. Program guidelines and the application form will be available for download from the NRCF website
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) are offering grants of up to $5,000 through their Small Grants stream for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities in rural, regional or remote Australia. Priority is given to communities of 10,000 or fewer.

Winners of the inaugural Lismore Biodiversity Awards were announced on August 25th during an awards ceremony at the Lismore City Bowling Club. The new awards night is part of the Biodiversity Management Strategy and a commitment from Lismore Council to thank people in the community who are acting to improve the local environment.
